It’s a well-documented fact that Shaquille O’Neal is one big dude. Besides standing at over seven feet tall, the all-time National Basketball Association (NBA) great possesses one of the most gargantuan frames in the history of the game.

While Shaq put his size to great use throughout his 19-year NBA career, being so damn large does come with its fair share of inconveniences. For one thing, NBA giants are very limited when it comes to the type of vehicles they can fit in. Supercars, in particular, can be a tight fit, though this apparently didn’t stop O’Neal from owning a Ferrari F335 Spider back in the day.

This Ferrari F335 Spider supposedly owned by O’Neal is currently up for auction on Bringatrailer.com, and the seller says the NBA center needed to make a few modifications to fit comfortably inside it. This included completely removing the vehicle’s soft top, as well as replacing the factory fuel tank.

Powering this Ferrari is a 3.5-liter V8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Other alterations made to the vehicle include aftermarket ‘Superman’ bucket seats with harnesses, a custom sound setup, and 19-inch Giovanni wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. The exterior’s ‘Argento Nürburgring’ finish is matched inside with silver and black upholstery, too.

The odometer reads about 11,900km, and the current bid now sits at $46,000 (around P2.2 million). You can watch O’Neal show off his Ferrari in the clip from MTV Cribs below. Watch:

So, what car do you think you’d drive if you were over seven feet tall? Would you go with something practical like a full-size SUV or try to make owning a supercar work like Shaq? Let us know in the comments.
